What's on this Winter
We have to say that the Megeve community do an excellent job of offering plenty to entertain their visitors throughout the year. Below is a list of events from the Winter 2023/2024 season. Do check back shortly, or you can keep up to date with this years events plus much more via our Facebook and Instagram pages as they are frequently updated. - December 4th Illumination of the Christmas tree - music, lights and lots of fun!
- December 17th Full opening of the ski area.
- December 23rd Dec -5th Jan Christmas village opens it's doors with Father Christmas visiting the town centre and fun for all the family.
- December 24th - 17:00, Father Christmas and his elves parade through Megeve!
- December 28th - Afternoon and into the evening, Celebrate the 90th anniversary of the telepherique of Rochebrune.
- December 30th - 10:30 and 17:30, Parade Blanche - street theatre, music and bands16:30.
- December 31st New Year's Eve celebrations. Torch lit descent - watch the ESF instructors snake down Jaillet lit only by flame. Later on you can join the revellers in Megeve at the central square as they count down to midnight with fireworks and a live music. From 18:00 till late.
- January 13th The Grand Odyssée Savoie de Mont Blanc - the most difficult dog and sled race in the world visits Megeve.
- January 19th - 21st - L'Elegance car rally, see rare and classic cars being driven on ice!
- January 20th - 21st - Grand Prix La Bucheronne, cross country ski race.
- Every Tuesday (Rochebrune) 10th February to 10th March 17:45-18:45 Night sledging at Rochebrune. Free and fun for all - bring your own sledge !
- Feb 6th - 27th - Discover Ice Hockey at the outdoor ice rink.
- February 24th - Ice Hockey, Mont Blanc v Valenciennes at the Palais.
- March 27th - 30th - 27th Ski Open Coq d'Or Alpine ski competition.
- April 7th The lifts close. It's the end of season 2024...
