Best catered chalet experience we have experienced and we have done a few.

Just to let you know that our stay last week was amazing, despite the fact that there was not much snow we had an amazing time. The chalet was so clean I actually thought it had been redone at first, Lou and Carlos are amazing hosts, from the moment we arrived the welcome could not have been warmer, they work together so brilliantly to make all of the guests feel totally special, have excellent attention to detail and are supper friendly and hospitable and of course the food was the best ever - we had dinner at the hotel soleil d'or on Friday and it was excellent but Leon and I both agreed that the quality was just as good as everything we had all week cooked by Carlos in the chalet. So we are very grateful to them for making the whole week of Leon’s 50th birthday so special.

What a Gem, such a lovely place to stay. Fabulous staff and food. Rooms were very comfortable felt like a home away from home. Beautiful surroundings. My husband is Coeliac and they had no problem catering for him. Feels more like a 3 star, will definitely return.

I really enjoy my skiing in beautiful Megeve and I enjoy booking with your family company as I always receive great personal and professional service and Stanford Skiing really cares about what we think and listen to feedback and you always go out of your way to ensure we the customer have a great time.

A quality chalet : exceptional cuisine. 4th stay in Megeve with Stanford , previously at their adjacent chalet Sylvaner. This one is somewhat more expensive , but the comfort and catering is definitely at a higher level. The chefs / hosts could not be more helpful and produced dinners to delight us all - catering for gluten free was fuss-free and reliable. The bedrooms / hot water supply were good ; the lounge very comfortable with more than enough seating ( not always the case in ski chalets ! ). Location good at 5 minutes easy walk to the main resort access. And good skiing to boot !

Best chalet with service This was a business ski trip where we stayed at this darling chalet. Adorned with cute touches throughout there were little hearts on the doors, a chalkboard welcome sign, the tartan curtains, afternoon tea, personal chef and cleaning service. There’s even a sauna on the lower level! This place offers lovely managers who are very helpful and friendly. It’s very convenient being just down the block from the lift, around the corner to a small convenience store, ski/snowboard rental shops and restaurants. About 15 minute walk to middle of town for additional shops, restaurants or (if you like) a dance club.

On the whole, the chalet was very nice, but the service was sublime. Leading off with the best bits: Chloe and Alistair(our chalet hosts) were the best chalet hosts I have ever had, given that i've been skiing for 24 years that's a pretty good endorsement. Their food was far better than we had in most restaurants. They were so friendly and imparted excellent advice on where to ski on various days for the best conditions/avoiding the crowds. We booked through lovely family owned company Stanford. Turning to facilities, rooms were good size aznd we each had our own bathroom(with bath) which was a big plus. Beds were comfy, but pillows could have been a bit softer though. Great sauna and decent boot room. On the whole the decor could have been updated a little bit, but it was super comfortable
