Megève isn’t just for winter only – it’s a great place to spend the summer. Whether you want to go hiking, mountain biking or simply breathe in the clean mountain air, there’s plenty to enjoy.
And in Megève there are some special events to attend this summer.

28–30 June: The MB Race
The MB Race is a mountain biking extravaganza that takes place across the Pays du Mont-Blanc region.
The flagship one-day event the MB Ultra Somfy encompasses a gruelling 140km distance course that includes a staggering 7000 metres of elevation gain.
But it’s not just for the hard-core, with options for young and old, solo riders or families.
There are 10 events in total, with 140km, 100km and 70km options for the Ultra Somfy, 20km-55km races in the MB Explore, plus the e-bike e-Rando Découverte course of 15 km, as well as races for children as well.

06–14 July: International Show Jumping in Megève
This event combines accessibility, festivity, and unity with top-tier equestrian prowess.
More than 30,000 visitors expected to attend this year, with over 500 horses and 350 riders from 20 countries taking part. The event is free to attend.
12–14 July: Megève Jazz Contest
The Megève Jazz Contest returns this year for its 28th edition 12 to 14 July, inspired by the spirit of New Orleans, and bringing together the soulful notes of traditional jazz across six orchestras.

19–21 July: Megève Blues Festival
This summer will see the 10th edition of the Megève Blues Festival, with three electrifying evenings on offer from July 19 to 21.
Due to increasing popularity this year, the Megève Blues Festival will take place in the Palais parking lot to allow for its expanding audience.
Tickets are priced from €25 for an evening pass or €40 for a two evening pass and €50 for a full festival pass. There will be also some free stages in the village.
