See this great exhibition in Megève this summerThis summer visitors to Megève will be able to enjoy an exhibition of the works of Léa Layeux, also known as Oxaléa.
Lea is a visual artist with a passion for all elements of nature, from mountain forests to flora, fauna and mushrooms.
Compositions created from nature
The stunning Val d'Arly has inspired Layeux in the compositions she has created using plants collected from the area.
All items have been collected sustainably and shows off the beauty of the microscopic, using arrangements of foliage, grasses and bark to reveal our relationship with nature.
"We need to see what’s at our feet before gazing up at the sky"
During summer 2024, she hopes to raise awareness and education of nature by organising workshops to create herbariums for children.
The exhibition will take place at the Palais and runs from 06 July to 01 September 2024 from 3pm to 7pm each day. Admission is €3 for adults and free for under-16s.
