Taking advantage of the early lift openings

The build up to this season has been incredibly busy with lots of time spent learning the ropes of actually running a ski company rather than just working for a ski company. Renovation and maintenance has been high on the agenda with lots of effort being put into the areas we have had most comments about in feedback, for example some of the bathrooms and carpets. We were ahead of schedule and then we had a fantastic problem to deal with, the snow arrived so we lost time to snow clearing operations.

Pre lift opening I managed to get a ski tour in, up to the top of Cote 2000 then back via the Radaz. It was the perfect day, -10 degrees at the start and amazing clear blue skies.  The following weekend there was a limited opening of some of the lifts around Cote and Rochebrune so we took a little time out to get a couple of runs in.  

At the end of this week we have our staff arriving in Megeve, this is always a brilliant milestone as it suddenly changes the focus from maintenance and build to the season actually starting.  We do have Andre, Carlos and Lou returning this year so we only have four new faces, Lizzie, Lizzie, Oisin and Hannah, Ill try and do another blog to introduce you to them all as we go into the season.
