Princesse Ski Area in Megeve secures 16.5 Million Euros Investment

One of our favourite Megeve ski areas is to receive 16.5 Million Euros Investment.
On the 6th June 2025 a new operator, Société des Téléportés Bettex Mont d'Arbois (STBMA), was awarded the contract to operate the Princesse telecabine lift for the next 24 years. As part of the new agreement STBMA will invest €16.5 Million in the area which will include snow making machines on the glorious Prapacot blue piste and modernisation of the Princesse cable car.
The Princesse cable car provides quick and easy access from La Princesse to Mont d’Arbois where you find a huge choice of options to suit skiers of all levels. You can glide onto gentle green and blue pistes, perfect for families and beginners, or venture onto longer red runs that stretch back down to Megève. For non-skiers and skiers alike there is also the famous toboggan run through 3km of pine forest. We recommend all visitors to Megève have to take this on at least once!
