With less than a month to go before the Megève Winter 2025 / 2026 ski season starts we thought we would take a look at all the special events you can enjoy. We have summarised our favourite events for each month from December 2025 to April 2026.
Christmas village - 22nd December 2025 - 2nd January 2026
There’s nothing quite like Megève at Christmas. The cobbled streets twinkle with fairy lights, the scent of mulled wine fills the air, and the whole village feels like a scene from a snow globe. Between 22nd and 24th December, Santa will be in residence for you to get a picture and drop off your Christmas list. Don’t miss the special Santa parade and departure on 24th December at 17:30 in the Village Square. From the 22nd December through to the 2nd January, children aged six and above can get involved in some special Christmas workshops. Find out more
L’Élégance a du Cœur - 31st January
L’Élégance a du Cœur is a glamorous charity event combining classic cars, vintage fashion, and winter sport, all in aid of funding research into providing cures for pediatric cancer. Expect beautifully restored vehicles parading through the snowy streets and plenty of chic mountain atmosphere — it’s Megève at its most sophisticated.
Ice Hockey - February 13th
For a break from the slopes, catch an adrenaline-filled ice hockey match at the Patinoire du Palais. On the 13th February at 19.30, the Mont-Blanc Yetis take on the Cholet Dogs. It’s sure to be a fun and lively evening. If you can’t make this date don’t worry there are games throughout the season. Check Megève Tourism’s events page.
Classiquicime - 26th - 29th March
March brings a touch of culture to the mountains with the Classiquicime festival. World-class musicians perform in beautiful alpine settings, from intimate chapels to grand halls. It’s an unforgettable experience — imagine listening to a live orchestra while snowflakes fall outside the window?
