Did you know that the Netflix series ‘Emily in Paris’ filmed all its ski scenes in Megève?

Emily in Paris...in Megève

Season four of the popular programme features the titular Emily try skiing for the first time. And of course, given the fashionista’s luxury tastes, she takes to the slopes in chic Megève.

Episode 6 of the latest season was filmed in March 2024 in our favourite French ski resort with the three-day shoot organised in the utmost secrecy.

Over 100 crew and 100 extras

During the three days of filming for ‘Emily in Paris’, the schedule was meticulously planned, segueing smoothly from the slopes, to the chalet and then the village.

The crew was made up of more than 120 people and almost as many extras were also involved including the ESF, L'Epicerie Noémie and, of course, Megève’s horse-drawn carriages.

Christopher, 37, is a Megèvois who volunteered as an extra:

“Despite the long waits and re-takes I loved the experience. I’ll always remember the restaurant scene, where we had some delicious dishes with a magnificent view as a bonus!"
