Condé Nast recommend a ‘sophisticated stay’ in Megève

Condé Nast Traveller has picked Megève in their list of the best resorts in France
We already know that Megève is one of the best ski resorts in France and it turns out that Condé Nast Traveller agrees with us.
The magazine picked Megève in their list of the best resorts, describing it as “Cobbled, car-free and about as chocolate-boxy as they come.”
They note the history of the resort, from days of Baroness de Rothschild in the roaring Twenties to the stomping ground for rich, well-connected Parisians in the 1960s and “a predominately Francophile crowd” today.
You don’t end up on lists like this without having great skiing. Condé Nast considers Megève “the perfect jumping-off point for intermediate skiers looking to cruise along gentle tree-lined runs”.
