Another Powder day

Another 25 cm snow in the village overnight, so first lift up Mont D'Arbois.  Skied the black Princess twice, then Bridans, Pylons and Super Megeve - all unpisted but not many people around, possibly because it was snowing and windy - but great powder. Then we went up Epaule and skied off the ridge and ended up at the Gouet for beers and lunch.  Skied off-piste down to Les Comunailles after lunch - someone has had a chain saw out and cleared the exit route through the trees - many thanks.  Then my 78 year old legs were giving out so I decided to ski home via le Planallet - picture above is the last pitch after you leave the forest.  I got down to the road  and thought I might as well ski down to town rather than waiting for the bus. BIG mistake.  Nobody had done it (see below) and the snow was deep and not steep enough so I spent a lot of time walking - not good on tired legs.
