Q   Do you provide towels and soap in your chalets?

Yes.  We provide a hand towel and large bath towel for each guest. In the Sylvana and Rond Point we provide liquid soap, in the Clochettes we provide a range of toileteries.

Q   Do you have hairdryers in your rooms?

Yes there are hairdryers in all our rooms.

Q   How do you pronounce Megeve?

The "Meg" part is pronounced like Mej  - a soft g. The "¨ve" is like kev, not like evie or jeev.  In french it has an accent "Megève" but we don't use that in our website because Google searches treat è and e differently.

Q   Where can I swim in Megeve?

There's a great outdoor swimming pool which also has an extra section with slides for the kids.  That's all at the Palais des Sports complex in the town.  Alternatively there are swimming lakes at Passy and Flumet and a lovely natural "plein d'eau", that you do have to pay for, in the village below Megeve, Combloux - fab views of Mont Blanc.  Alternatively, many of the mountain restaurants have swimming pools and if you eat there you can use them.

Q   What can I do in Megeve?

There's so much to do from horse riding to golf, to canyoning to mountain biking to just relaxing at a mountain farm.  Have a look at the long list on our activities pages.

Q   How do I get about Megeve?

It's easily walkable from all our accommodation to the centre of the town, the Palais des Sports and to lifts.  At our catered chalet Les Clochettes we will transport you to/from activities (one trip/day) so you have no need to worry.

There are Megeve buses that run from the Rochebrune cable car, close to our Hotel Sylvana and apartment Les Clochettes and from outside our Hotel Rond Point that go to the lifts.  The hotel managers will have timetables.  However, if you are not staying at our catered chalet Les Clochettes and you want to do a lot of activities, we recommend bringing a car.
