There is loads going on in the village of Megève over the summer.  Around Bastille day (14th July) every year there is a jazz competition where bands from around the world compete to win the coveted title.  Bands play at free venues around the town, what better way to enjoy an afternoon than soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying a little jazz!  Showjumping also comes to Megève in July with the car park at the Palais des Sports turned into a huge showjumping ring.  Again free to enjoy.  There's also a Blues festival, mountain biking races and numerous concerts, all adding to a great summer holiday in the French Alps.
