Fancy a Summer in the Alps?

Can you imagine a summer in the Alps, walk out of the Chalet and you are right in the centre of things.  walking, running, cycling? Then join our friendly company for the summer season in Megeve, France.  Summers are a bit more chilled than winter, we dont do an evening dinner service and also only provide continental options for breakfast so you get more time to get out and play.

Details on the position:

• You must be fluent in English and French
• This is a position for a host, working as a part of a team of 3 in resort in Megeve
• You will be flexible, positive, punctual and all the other things you would expect
• Experience in hospitality/ cleaning is an advantage
• 30h/week french contract
• At least 2 days off per week

What can you expect

During summer the majority of our guests are French with other nationalities thrown in.  Morning will consist of preparing the dining room for breakfast and cooking pain au chocolat and croissants.  Breaksfast is served between 8am and 9:30am, when that is finished and the cleaning up has happened then its time to change over or service any rooms that need it.  Evenings you will be manning the reception if required between 16:00 and 20:00.  Weekends are the busiest times as there are lots of holidaymakers passing through, the weekdays tend to be very quiet.

Are you a keen skier or boarder? Or if not would you like to be? Then join our friendly company for the ski season in Megeve, France. We are a small family-run company and it is important to us that our staff have fun and enjoy their season. Most stay in contact with us for years after- coming back to Megeve for holidays, or coming to our out-of-season staff reunion parties.  We need one more person to complete the team following a drop out due to family reasons, this will need to be a male due to the accomodation available.

• This is a position for a host, working as a part of a team of 8 in resort in Megeve
• You will be flexible, positive, punctual and all the other things you would expect
• Experience in hospitality/ cleaning is an advantage
• 35 h french contract
• 2 days off per week
