The longest, highest run in Europe, runs from the top of the Aiguille du Midi cable car for 22 km into Chamonix and offers the most incredible views of pinnacles, ice cliffs, caves and crevasses.

Numbers and weather permitting, we will arrange for a qualified and experienced mountain guide to lead a party down this spectacular glacier every week - usually from about mid January. The run is not hard, blue/red standard, but you need to be able to turn and stop where the guide directs. We ascend to an altitude of 3800 metres and skiing on unpisted snow can be quite tiring, so you do need to be fit.

If you've never viewed glaciers before, we strongly recommend it. Trips will be arranged in the resort.
