The catered Ski Chalet/Hotel Sylvana is our original ski chalet and has a special ambience which makes our guests want to return year after year.

A former 1 star hotel, it combines the friendliness of a ski chalet with some of the benefits that you would only find in a hotel.

The 15 bedrooms are comfortable but not luxurious. The furnishing and decoration is simple but all have small en suite bath/shower rooms. There is lots of hot water.

Downstairs you can relax in front of the log fire in the attractive lounge area and have a pre-dinner drink and appetisers at the inexpensive bar.

We employ an excellent chef who will serve porridge, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, croissants and pain au chocolat for breakfast, cooks fresh cakes or pastries for afternoon tea and of course a high quality three course evening meal complete with wine.

Only 150m from the Rochebrune cable car, at the end of the day you can usually ski back to the chalet across the fields, though there are now several roads to cross. Stroll down the hill for 5 minutes and you are in the centre of picturesque Megeve.
