The Chalet/Hotel Sylvana is our original chalet and has a special welcoming ambience which makes our guests want to return year after year (please excuse the winter shot of the chalet but we haven't managed to take a summer one yet).
During the summer, we offer the chalet on a self-catered basis and it is ideal for 3 or 4 families or small groups to join up with enough space for everyone. We often have great summer holidays here with groups of friends. We all do our own thing during the day and share the cooking and our tales of our adventures in the evening!
The 15 bedrooms are comfortable but not luxurious. The furnishing and decoration is simple but all have small en suite bath/shower rooms. There is lots of hot water.
Downstairs you can relax in the attractive lounge area and even have a log fire if it gets a bit chilly in the evening. There is a terrace running along the back of the chalet which is ideal for BBQ's and sunbathing.
The kitchen is well equipped although built for professional use with microwave, electric and large gas ovens, gas hob and dishwasher. There is a washing machine and drying room in the basement and a small television room for the children.
There is a small supermarket at the bottom of the drive for essentials such as baguettes, croissants and milk and there is plenty of parking outside of the chalet. The Sylvana is only 150m from the Rochebrune cable car where you can hire mountain bikes and go for great walks. You can stroll down the hill for 5 minutes to the
centre of picturesque Megeve and in 10 minutes you will be at the sports centre where there is swimming, tennis, crazy golf, children's playground etc.
Price includes linen and bath towels although we do ask guests to bring towels with them for use at the swimming pool.
There is broadband wireless internet access at the Chalet Sylvana for use by our guests.
